About the Journal

Assa'ada International Research Journal (AIRJ) is a peer-reviewed, open-access quarterly journal that publishes rigorous scholarship across a broad range of academic disciplines. It was launched in January 2026 by Jamia Sa-adiya Arabiya, one of North Kerala's most established educational institutions. We conceived the journal as a bridge between traditional scholarship and contemporary research, giving authors from every discipline an inclusive platform to contribute to the global conversation.

AIRJ welcomes original, unpublished manuscripts across the sciences, humanities, social sciences, Islamic studies, education, technology, mathematics, law and allied fields. Every submission goes through rigorous double-blind peer review by subject experts, so that the work we publish meets the highest standards of scholarly integrity. Our editorial team is drawn from experienced faculty, researchers and practitioners who share a common commitment to advancing knowledge through careful, ethical and impactful research.

AIRJ is entirely fee-free. This removes the financial barriers that often prevent early-career and independent researchers from publishing their work. Every accepted article is published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), so readers worldwide can freely access, share, adapt and build upon the research. Authors retain full copyright of their contributions. This model reflects our belief that publicly meaningful research should be publicly accessible.

About the Publisher

AIRJ is published by Jamia Sa-adiya Arabiya, a religious, socio-cultural, educational and charitable institution established on 28 April 1971 in Kasaragod, the northernmost district of Kerala, India. What began as a modest initiative in the house of Late Kallatra Abdul Khader Haji, a visionary who believed lasting change begins with lasting learning, has grown over more than five decades into one of the most respected educational networks in North Kerala. From that single house in Kalanad village, Sa-adiya's founders started with the conviction that no community can flourish without an educational institution rooted in its own culture yet open to the world's knowledge. That conviction remains the guiding principle of the institution today.

Over the years Jamia Sa-adiya Arabiya has grown into a large, well-integrated educational ecosystem. The institution today operates across a 70+ acre campus at Sa-adabad, Deli, Kalanad (PO), Kasaragod, and runs more than 30 institutions that serve students from primary schooling through to higher academic and professional education. The network employs over 600 staff and educates more than 10,000 students at any given time, drawn not only from across Kerala but from other Indian states and increasingly from abroad.

Sa-adiya's institutional network is deliberately diverse. It includes the Islamic Shari'ah College, which offers advanced instruction in Islamic jurisprudence, theology and classical Arabic, the Sa-adiya Arabic College, dedicated to Arabic language and learning, and the Sa-adiya Law College, which offers legal education. It runs a College of Arts and Commerce providing university-affiliated degree and postgraduate programmes in the humanities, social sciences and commerce, alongside the Sa-adiya Science College and the Sa-adiya Women's College, which widens access to higher education for women. It houses an Industrial Training Centre (ITI) that equips students with practical, employable technical skills.

School education begins at the Sa-adiya Kids Garden and continues through the Sa-adiya English Medium Residential Senior Secondary School, along with a range of other schools, madrasas, hostels and residential facilities. Sa-adiya Distance Learning Centres extend its reach to learners who cannot study on campus, while its library and research centres support advanced study and scholarship. This blend of traditional religious scholarship with modern arts, science, commerce, law and technical education is what gives Sa-adiya its distinctive identity, and it directly shapes the multi-disciplinary character of the journal it now publishes.

Beyond formal classroom teaching, Jamia Sa-adiya Arabiya has for decades sustained a vibrant intellectual life around it. There are literary associations, study circles, annual academic camps, public lectures, conferences and community outreach programmes that engage students, alumni and the wider public in continuous learning. It has also served as a charitable institution, running Sa-adiya Orphanages and Sa-adiya Destitute Homes, offering support to under-resourced students and carrying out welfare initiatives for the surrounding community. This tradition of scholarship-with-service is the direct lineage from which Assa'ada International Research Journal (AIRJ) emerges.

With AIRJ, Sa-adiya carries this legacy forward into the realm of academic publishing. The journal represents a natural next step for an institution that has long been a producer of ideas, teachers and scholars. It provides an international platform for those ideas to be documented, reviewed and shared with the wider academic community. Editorial Vision & Standards

AIRJ believes the most impactful research emerges when diverse voices are given a fair, transparent and rigorous platform. Our editorial process rests on three commitments. First, intellectual rigor. Second, ethical integrity. Third, open accessibility. Every manuscript is first screened for originality using Turnitin, with a similarity limit of 10% (excluding references and quoted text) in line with UGC guidelines, before it enters the peer review stage.

Our double-blind peer review protects the anonymity of both authors and reviewers. This allows manuscripts to be evaluated on their scholarly merit alone. Reviewers are chosen from among experienced academics in the manuscript's specific field, and detailed constructive feedback is provided to help authors strengthen their work through revision. This matters especially for early-career researchers. We see peer review not as a gatekeeping mechanism but as a collaborative process that helps good research become better.

We publish without any financial barrier for authors. There are no submission fees, no article processing charges, and no hidden costs at any stage. This ensures that access to publication depends only on the quality of the research, not the researcher's institutional or financial standing.
