Assa'ada International Research Journal (AIRJ) is committed to open access publishing. We believe the CC BY licence promotes the widest possible dissemination of scholarly research. By publishing with AIRJ, authors contribute to a global knowledge-sharing community that benefits students, researchers, practitioners and the general public equally.
Every article published in AIRJ is fully open access. It is immediately and freely available to read, download and share. This policy explains the terms and conditions of the CC BY licence and how it applies to authors, readers and other users of AIRJ's content.
AIRJ is committed to promoting open access to scholarly research. As part of this commitment, AIRJ uses the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) licence for all published articles. All research articles published in AIRJ are fully open access. They are immediately available to read, download and share worldwide.
The author(s) and copyright holder(s) grant to all users a free, irrevocable, worldwide, perpetual right of access to, and a licence to copy, use, distribute, transmit and display the work publicly. This includes the right to make and distribute derivative works, in any digital medium for any responsible purpose, subject to proper attribution of authorship. Users also have the right to make small numbers of printed copies for their personal use.
CC BY 4.0 is the most open Creative Commons licence. It allows users to redistribute the work, create derivatives such as a translation, and use the publication for commercial activities, provided appropriate credit is given to the author and any changes are clearly indicated. Under this licence, users are free to share, which means copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format, and to adapt, which means remix, transform and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially. Users must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the licence, and indicate if changes were made. Users may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses them or their use.
Authors retain the copyright to their work and grant AIRJ the right to publish the article under the CC BY 4.0 licence. Authors are responsible for ensuring the originality and accuracy of their submissions.
Authors are permitted, and encouraged, to deposit the published version of their article in institutional repositories, subject-based repositories, or personal websites at any time after publication, provided the original publication in AIRJ is properly cited.
Where a published article incorporates material owned by a third party, such as a quoted excerpt, table or image sourced elsewhere, that specific material remains subject to the original copyright holder's terms. The CC BY 4.0 licence applies only to the original content contributed by the author(s).
Readers and other users are free to use, share and adapt the published works from AIRJ, provided they comply with the CC BY 4.0 licence terms. Proper attribution must be given to the authors and the journal.
Proper attribution should include the title and authors of the work, the name of the journal (Assa'ada International Research Journal), a link to the original work, and an indication of any changes made to the original work.
